The functional office environment promotes a culture of open innovation. The new office marks Warren and Mahoney’s return to the central city and demonstrates a sense of strength, creativity and positive engagement with the public realm through transparency of activity.

EY are back in Christchurch's CBD after their previous office was damaged by the 2011 earthquakes. The EY Christchurch team service a variety of clients, and are very dedicated to the local Canterbury area, thus sparking the concept of "strengthen global, empower local." As a result, there has been the use of many locally sourced products in the building, such as Timaru bluestone and natural timbers.

Maori Television's new location in East Tamaki presented a design challenge to the project team. The team had to create a new office space and studio that celebrates Te Reo Maori and embodies the DNA of Maori Television. The result is that the company’s DNA and mauri is now weaved into the building through Te aho tapu – the sacred thread - which translates to the first thread and the backbone of the design.

The 125 Queen Street project transformed a vacant and run-down commercial building into a premium commercial premises. The fit out of the ground level and a brand new dining precinct on level one played a critical role in delivering the client's vision for a state-of-the-art facility offering some of the most distinguished commercial space in Auckland’s CBD. This project restored this queen of Auckland to her former glory, creating a landmark and an iconic building in the CBD.

The Dunedin franchise of Cobb & Co., known for its pioneering heritage, selected to home its new restaurant and saloon in Dunedin’s Historic Railway Station. Constructed in 1872, the Heritage New Zealand listed property commenced a commercial fit out under intense public scrutiny. The project team delivered a new 750sqm, 220 seat, facility which is sympathetic to the railways history, while maintaining the quintessential elements of Cobb & Co’s brand identity.

This 900m2 building can be seen as you enter Hamilton and connects seamlessly with the street view. The difference of heights provides interest from both the street, and inside out. This Christchurch NZ Fitout project arose when the Christchurch District Council and Christchurch and Canterbury Tourism needed to be merged into one space. The fitout maximises Christchurch NZ's connection to the city while providing a warm, stimulating environment for the staff to work together in a fully open plan space. The new office has helped bring the two previously separate entities together, and is proving a highly effective facilitator for the new Christchurch NZ companies’ direction and purpose.

95 Union Street is a new development nestled in the corner of the historic Victoria Park Markets in Auckland. While the stark new exterior sits seamlessly alongside the old red brick walls, the inside was a stark contrast of all new basic commercial construction. The efforts of the fit out all came from tieing the new building back into its environment. This building now flows effortlessly to supply all the amenities required.

SKYCITY Entertainment Group Limited
HUAMI is the newest addition to SKYCITY’s Federal Street dining hub. It is located, in what is possibly the busiest little street, in the city. The project included an integrated fitout incorporating new complex services to the kitchen, restaurant and toilets. There was a high level of coordination required of all the services with the back of house and show kitchens, while the large joinery package and high-end finishes resulted in a stunning completed product.

Eastward's No 2 Trust
Located in the heart of Wellington, Xero Two stands tall as a contemporary, heritage landmark building. Built in the 1880s, the original two-floor, brick masonry building has been completely transformed into a five-storey, seismically-strengthened corporate headquarters for Xero. Xero Two is not only exemplary in terms of its design and fit-out, but also in it construction, which involved processes never before used in Wellington, such as Jet piles.

Datacom’s previous offices were at capacity and were dated. The new Datacom Gaunt Street building caters for continued growth and has capacity to accommodate more than 1,500 people in a more dynamic environment. The building has been designed to the latest earthquake standards and was awarded a Five Green Star NZ design rating. It combines the latest in sustainable architectural features in energy and water conservation.
