Judges Comments

The development of the new facilities in Hamilton East comprises two showrooms, together with workshop spaces and a public café.
The complexity of the design required the Contractor to be very accurate horizontally and vertically, as the parabolic wall curves, floor tiles and ceiling grids all met at critical junction points.

Innovations in this new facility included recycling of waste oil to provide heating to all spaces including the workshop floors.
The completed facilities have exceeded the client’s expectations both in design, functionality and build quality.
