BNZ
The BNZ Partners Centre project came as a result of the 2016 Kaikoura earthquake severely damaging the 20,000sqm Wellington BNZ Headquarters. Unispace and the BNZ had to rehouse 1,500 displaced staff members. The solution involved the consolidation of the workforce into three sites, with this project being the first of these. The project consisted of refurbishing an office and amenity space across 10 floors, as well as transforming the bank’s 840sqm Partners Centre into a collaborative space. This project pushed the boundaries for the BNZ. They needed to ensure that they maintained their position as market leader, and showcase the resilience of the bank in the face of adversity.
